Bright, deep straw-yellow colours with green-gold hues, and a very fine persistent bead. This has a voluminous bouquet, lifted with white stonefruit and citrus fruit aromas and very fine, but intense yeasty. bready autolysis. Very dry on palate, this is tightly bound and quite elegant in body, with delicate citrus and floral flavours, beautifully balanced by definite, but finely expressed bready autolysis notes. A long, subtly nuanced finish epitomises the finesse.
Richly, fragrant and creamy-textured blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, grown at Bendigo, in Central Otago, and disgorged after four years on its yeast lees. Intensely flavoured, biscuity and slightly buttery, with impressive complexity and a nutty, long finish.
